Terms of service

1. Who we are

STR Manager ("we", "us") provides online software for businesses that manage short-stay accommodation ("you"). These terms apply when you sign up for a free trial or a paid plan.

2. Your account

You must give accurate details when you sign up and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for the people you give access to, including your team members and property owners.

3. Free trial

The free trial lasts for the period shown when you sign up. At the end of the trial your account is paused unless you choose a plan. Your data is kept while the account is paused.

4. Plans and payment

Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Plans are billed monthly in advance by card through our payment provider. Per-property plans are billed on the number of active properties in your account. You can change or cancel your plan at any time from Billing; changes are adjusted on your next invoice.

5. Late or failed payment

If a payment fails we will let you know and try again. If payment is not made, we may pause your account until it is. We will not delete your data because of a late payment without giving you notice.

6. Your data

You own the data you put into STR Manager, including information about your properties, owners and guests. You are responsible for having the right to collect and use that information, including under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). We use your data only to provide and support the service, as set out in our privacy policy.

7. Support access

Our support team can open your account only when support access is turned on in your Settings. Each visit is shown to your team while it happens and recorded in your activity log.

8. Acceptable use

You must not use the service to send spam, break the law, or interfere with the service or other customers.

9. Availability

We aim to keep the service available at all times but cannot promise it will be uninterrupted. Booking platforms' calendar links and other third-party services are outside our control.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to resupplying the service or refunding the fees paid for the month in which the issue occurred.

11. Ending the service

You can cancel at any time. After cancellation you can ask us for an export of your data within 30 days, after which it may be deleted.
